SKILLS DEVELOPMENT CENTER IN RAGUN CITY

On September 27, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Honorable Emomali Rahmon, the Leader of the Nation, opened the Skills Development Center in Rogun.
The beautiful and modern center in Rogun was built with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and development partners within the framework of the instructions and directions of the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon in order to provide and create new jobs for the celebration of the great national holiday - the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan - in a high-quality manner and in compliance with architectural requirements.
The "Job Center in Rogun" consists of an educational building and a 4-storey dormitory with 130 beds, 8 training workshops and auxiliary buildings. The conditions created in this center allow for the training of up to 150 people in one shift, thus, more than 1,800 people can be trained per year.
The Skills Development Center consists of 10 spacious classrooms with 90 computers, a training room, a multi-purpose room, consultation, sanitary and hygienic, administrative rooms, a meeting room for 135 people and other auxiliary rooms.
In addition to training in 4 professions in the field of electric power engineering, the center also offers training in foreign languages, including English, Russian and Korean, and upon completion of training, each student will receive an international certificate.

Theoretical and practical classes will be organized at the Job Center. The conditions created in this center allow people of any age who want to become entrepreneurs to master various professions here.
At the same time, a child care center and a hostel with 57 rooms and 130 beds are equipped inside the building.
Free child care and scholarships are provided to attract women and girls to training courses.
The training of professional skills at the Center is determined in agreement with industry associations. The new educational programs are provided for a shorter period than regular education for low-income groups of the population who cannot afford to pay for tuition or spend time on the TVET program in the form of a day.
Also in the courtyard of the beautiful and modern building there is a small field for playing football, and its surroundings are decorated with bright seasonal flowers.
This room is connected to the heating system, and in the cold season through it all classrooms and other utility rooms are completely heated.
The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorary Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, having familiarized himself with the newly built facilities, gave officials specific instructions and directions on the creation of similar centers in all cities and regions of the country as well as the selection and placement of teachers and the training of high-level specialists.
